A Installation of batteries - changing batteries
So that the measuring instrument functions perfectly, it must be fitted with two 1.5 V
button cells type LR44, SR44 or AG13 or similar. When the change battery symbol
"Lbt" (= low battery) appears in the display, the batteries must be replaced. Proceed
as follows:
- Disconnect the unit from the circuit being measured,
- remove the measuring leads from the measuring instrument,
- switch it off and
- with a suitable crosshead screwdriver, unscrew the battery compartment cover
fixing screws.
- Now carefully remove the cover in direction of arrow.
- Remove the used batteries from the battery compartment and
- replace them with unused ones of the same type, in the course of which pay
attention to correct polarity (+ and -) without fail
- After replacing the battery place it in the battery compartment and carefully
close this once more.
Never operate the measuring instrument in an opened condition!
Danger to life!
Do not leave used batteries in the measuring instrument, becau-
se even leak-proof batteries can corrode and thereby release
chemicals, which are both damaging to health and can destroy
the battery compartment.
Used batteries are to be considered as special waste and must
therefore be disposed of with respect for the environment. Speci-
al collection bins are provided for this purpose at specialist retai-
lers and in waste-recovery yards.

Geachte klant,
Met deze digitale multimeter VC -808 heeft u een meetapparaat volgens de laatste
stand van de techniek aangeschaft.
De opbouw is volgens het DIN VDE 0411, deel 1 voor meetapparaten = EN
61010-1. Bovendien is het apparaat EMV- getest (voor gebruik in huis) en vol-
doet aan de eisen van de geldende Europese en nationale richtlijnen. De CE-
conformiteit is bewezen; de betreffende documenten bevinden zich bij de fabri-
kant.
Om dit zo te houden en gebruik zonder gevaar te garanderen, moet u zich als gebrui-
ker beslist aan deze gebruiksaanwijzing houden!
Gebruik waarvoor het meetapparaat
bedoeld is
Metingen van gelijk- en wisselspanningen tot max 400 VDC resp. VAC rms
Metingen van gelijkstromen tot max. 400 mA (beveiligd)
Metingen van weerstanden tot 40 Mohm
Batterijtest van 1,5-V-batterijen
Doorgangscontrole (<50 Ohm akoestisch) en diodetest
Het meten onder ongunstige omgevingsomstandigheden is niet toegestaan. Ongun-
stige omgevingsomstandigheden zijn:
- natheid of een te hoge luchtvochtigheid
- stof en brandbare gassen, dampen of oplosmiddelen
- onweer resp. onweerachtige omstandigheden zoals sterke elektrostatische vel-
den enz.
Een andere toepassing dan hierboven beschreven leidt tot beschadiging van het
meetapparaat, bovendien zijn hieraan gevaren verbonden, zoals bijv. kortsluiting,
brand, elektrische schok enz. Het totale product mag niet veranderd resp. omgebou-
wd worden. U dient zich beslist te houden aan de veiligheidsbepalingen!.
