4. Removing the motor, maintenance work
on the wheel sets, gearing and coupling
norm shaft (Fig. 4)
Replacing the engine:
Remove body and board – see (2) and (3). Loosen the screws (07)
of the gear cover (08). Remove the gear cover. Remove the engine
(09) upwards.
Maintenance work on the wheel sets, gears and coupling
norm shaft:
Turn the locomotive over, so that wheels and coupling plate are
facing upwards.
Alternating current: loosen the screw (10) of the pickup shoe (11)
and remove the pickup shoe.
Direct current: loosen the screw (10) of the cover (20) and remove
the cover with wheel pickup (21).
Unscrew the screws (12), raise the coupling cover (13) together
with the wheel sets (19). Unscrew the screws (14) on the wheel
sets and the weight (15) and remove the driving rod (16). In order
to reach the upper coupling, the body, engine and coupling cover
have to be taken apart (see (2) and (4)).
5. Schleifer tauschen bei Wechselstrom
Ausführung AC (Fig. 4)
Befestigungsschraube (10) herausdrehen, Schleifer (11)
abnehmen.

alternating current version AC (Fig. 4)
Unscrew the fastening screw (10). Remove the sliding contact (11).
6. Digitaldecoder tauschen (Fig. 4)
Gehäuse demontieren, siehe Punkt 2.
Digitaldecoder (17) abziehen und neuen einstecken.
6. Excanging the digital decoder (Fig. 4)
Dismantle the body, see (2).
Take out the digital decoder (17) and insert a new one.
