Der Transport von Russland in das übrige Europa auf der Schiene wird durch die beiden unterschiedlichen Spurweiten
erschwert. Schon früh wurden daher Spurwechsel-Radsätze entwickelt, die den durchgehenden Transport der Ware in
einem Wagen ermöglichten. Mit solchen Wagen werden Bodenschätze, vor allem Erdölprodukte und Gase, ins europäi-
sche Ausland geliefert. Für die in den Ländern der ehemaligen Sowjetunion übliche Mittelkupplung werden dazu noch
spezielle Kuppelwagen benötigt, die an einem Ende die Mittelkupplung, am anderen die übliche europäische Schrauben-
kupplung mit Seitenpuffern tragen. Neben älteren Wagen rüstete die DR auch einige standardisierte offene Wagen mit
Zentralkupplung aus.

The transport from Russia to the rest of Europe is hindered by the different track widths. Track change wheel-sets were
developed very early on to enable unrestricted transport of goods in one car. The tankcar of the Soviet Railway was used
to carry and deliver mineral resources, especially oil products and gases, to the rest of Europe. A special coupling car for
the European network was required for the middle coupling which was common for the countries of the former Soviet
Union. This special coupling car had a middle coupling at one end and the European screw coupling with side buffers at
the other end. In addition to the older cars, the DR also fitted some standardised open cars with a central coupling.

Le transport à partir de la Russie vers le reste de l'Europe par voie ferrée est compliqué par les deux écartements de voie
différents. C'est déjà à un moment précoce que des paires de roues interchangeables ont été développées qui ont permis
le transport sans interruption de la marchandise dans le même wagon. Ces wagons servent à transporter les ressources
du sous-sol, avant tout les produits pétroliers et les gaz, dans les pays étrangers européens. Pour l'attelage central usuel
dans les pays de l'ancienne Union Soviétique, on a encore besoin de voitures d'attelage spéciales qui sont dotées de
l'attelage central d'un côté et de l'autre, de l'attelage à vis européen avec tampons latéraux. Outre quelques wagons plus
anciens, la DR a également équipé quelques wagons ouverts standardisés de l'attelage central.

Il trasporto su binari dalla Russia al resto dell'Europa viene reso difficile dai due diversi scartamenti dei binari. Pertanto
sono stati messi a punto tempestivamente gruppi di ruote con cambio di scartamento, che consentono il trasporto senza
interruzione delle merci in un vagone. Con questi vagoni vengono forniti agli altri paesi europei risorse minerarie,
soprattutto prodotti del petrolio e gas. Per l'aggancio centrale usato nei paesi della ex-Unione Sovietica sono inoltre
necessari speciali carrelli di aggancio che, da una estremità, abbiano l'aggancio centrale, dall'altra l'aggancio a vite con
respingenti laterali usato in Europa. Oltre ai vagoni più vecchi, la DR ha equipaggiato con l'aggancio centrale anche alcuni
vagoni aperti standardizzati.
