G) Acoustic signal of reception quality

If the clock time was successfully received, you can then measure the strength of reception on an
ongoing basis with the help of an acoustic signal. In this way, even while moving you can find the
optimal place of installation of the device for reception of weather data.
1.
Press the "+" button () for three seconds. A signal tone confirms that you are now in this
special mode.
.
With optimal reception, the signal strength signal sounds twice per second over a period of
about 5 seconds. Then there is a pause.
3.
If fewer signal tones sound in the same period, this indicates a weaker reception signal (no
tone signifies no receipt).
4.
Press the "+" button () again to leave this mode.

H) Last reception of weather data / weather region

You can enquire once more about the reception of the last weather data and the region.
1.
Hold the "SET" button (1) down for 3 seconds and then press the "SET" button (1) two more
times.
.
The weather station shows you the date and time of day of the last weather reception for about
15 seconds. The current weather picture flashes in the process. At the same time, instead of
the outside temperature the current region is shown (three-digit).
3.
You can find the associated map of the 50 German regions on the Internet at
"www.wetterdirekt.com."

I) Operation of the projector

The projector projects the current time and the outside temperature in rotation onto a wall or ceiling
for 5 seconds, preferably in a dark room. The distance from the projection surface can be meters
at most.
1.
If the projection clock is operated with the power cable, the projector is permanently switched
on and can be switched off by pressing the "SUN" button (8).
.
If the projection clock is operated by batteries only, the projection switches on for 1 seconds if
the "SUN," "CROSS" or "SNOOZE" button (9) is pressed, an alarm sounds or when restarting.
3.
The projection area can be pivoted 180º upward or downward. In addition, with the "CROSS"
button (8) the orientation of the display can be set.
4.
If the projection clock is operated with the power cable, with the "SUN" button (8) you can also
set the brightness of the projection in 4 levels.

J) LED back-light

The LED back-light will be automatically switched ON when any key is pressed. The LED back-light
will be switched on for approximately 4 seconds before automatically switching OFF.
