The bench-type circular saw is equipped with two
n
adapters for connecting the extraction system:
Connection (x) on the saw blade guard (2) and
connection (y) on the chip box (z).
Plug the hoses of the extraction system onto the
n

8.7 Overload cut-out (Fig. 1)
The motor of this equipment is protected against
overload by an overload switch (18). If the rated
current is exceeded, the overload switch will shut
down the equipment. After a short cooling down
period, the equipment can be switched on again by
pressing the overload switch.
9. Sawing operations
After each new adjustment it is advisable to
carry out a trial cut in order to check the set
dimensions.
After switching on the saw, wait for the blade to
reach its maximum speed of rotation before
commencing with the cut.
Secure long workpieces against falling off at the
end of the cut (e.g. with a roller stand etc.)
Take extra care when starting the cut!
Never use the equipment without the suction function.
Regularly check and clean the suction channels.
9.1 Cutting narrow workpieces
(width less than 120 mm) (Fig. 12)
Adjust the parallel stop (7) to the width of
n
workpiece you require.
Feed in the workpiece with two hands. Always
n
use the push stick (3) in the area of the saw
blade (4).
(A push stick is supplied with the saw!)
Always push the workpiece through to the end of
n
the splitter (5).
Caution! With short workpieces, use the push
n
stick from the beginning.
9.2 Cutting extremely narrow workpieces
(width less than 30 mm) (Fig. 13)
Adjust the parallel stop (7) to the width of
n
workpiece you require.
Use the push block (d) to press the workpiece
n
against the stop rail (25) and push the workpiece
with the push stick (3) through to the end of the
splitter (5).
There is no push block supplied with the
saw!
(Available from your specialist dealer)
9.3 Cross cuts (Fig. 9)
Slide the cross stop (14) into the groove (a) in
n
the table and adjust to the required angle (see
8.4).
Use the stop rail (25).
n
Press the workpiece firmly against the cross stop
n
(14).
Switch on the saw.
n
Push the cross stop (14) and the workpiece
n
toward the blade in order to make the cut.
Important:

Always hold the guided part of the
workpiece. Never hold the part which is to be
cut off.
Push the cross stop (14) forward until the
n
workpiece is cut all the way through.
Switch off the saw again.
n
10. Maintenance
