Caution, important!
Before the first start, ensure that the slider „BEGINNER/EXPERT" (see figure 1, item 6) is in the „BEGIN-
NER" position. The hexacopter thus reacts much softer on the control commands and can be flown more
easily.
Figure 1 shows the transmitter in the encoder setup „MODE 2", the most frequent encoder setup in Europe.
For this reason, all figures and explanations in these instructions mostly refer to this encoder setup. For
more information on control of the hexacopter, see chapter 10, section e).
Independently of the control mode used, the two trimming buttons placed above the control sticks (see figure 1, items
2 and 12) always have no function. They only become active after the operating unit is folded to the respective other
encoder setup.
The precise procedure for adjusting the encoder setup from „MODE 2" to „MODE 1" or vice versa is described in
chapter 10, section f).
