6. Setting the Address

You can set the outdoor sensor to 8 different addresses (1 ... 8). This serves
to operate up to 8 outdoor sensors with equal structure at the same time (e.g.
one in the basement, one in the greenhouse, etc.).
The factory setting for the outdoor sensor is „1".
If you want to change the address (e.g. if you want to operate several
sensors), proceed as follows:
• Remove the protective cap above the sensor casing (see chapter 7) and
remove possibly inserted batteries.
• Afterwards, you need to remove three screws (A): two on the back to the left
and the right of the wall mount and one above the battery compartment. Take
off the front of the casing.
Handle the board with care and do not bend any components on
the board, do not try to straighten out any apparently bent
components under any circumstances!

• Now enter the desired address (1 ... 8), see the illustration above on the
right. The black square indicates a set jumper.
• Afterwards, reassemble the casing in reverse order.
