k) Setting the time zone
You can set a time offset for the different time zones. This is subtracted from or added to the
DCF time.
• Press the "MODE" button as many times until "ZONE" appears on the left of the display next
to the time.
• Press the "MODE" button (approx. 2 seconds) until "0:00+" flashes.
• With the " " and " " buttons on the front of the weather station the time offset to DCF time
can now be set.
• Briefly press the "MODE" button to save the setting.
l) Setting the language for the weekday
The DCF clock does not only display the radio-accurate time and date (in the case of activated
and faultless radio reception) but also the weekday. However, the abbreviation for the
weekday varies in many countries, e.g. "So" for Sunday in Germany and "Su" for Sunday in
England.
This is why you can set the language. For this purpose, proceed as follows:
• If a time zone is shown ("ZONE" displayed above time), change to the normal time display
(e.g. 12:15:05) by briefly pressing the "MODE" button several times.
• Press the "MODE" button (approx. 2 seconds) until the abbreviation of the language
appears on the top right of the display instead of the running second. Release the button
again.
• You can select the desired language with the " " and " " buttons on the front of the
weather station.
DE = German
FR = French
IT
= Italian
SP = Spanish
EN = English
• Now press the "MODE" button (only press button briefly each time) so often until the normal
time display reappears (and no setting option flashes anymore).
