Health hazard / irritation and scalding hazard
• During cleaning, hot cleaning solution is fi lled into
the thermos jug and hot water runs out of basket
fi lter.
• The hot cleaning liquid can irritate the skin, and the
heat poses a scalding hazard.
> Never put your hand under the basket fi lter while
you clean.
> Ensure that no one ever drinks the cleaning solution.
Slipping hazard
• Fluids can be discharged from the coffee machine if
used improperly or if errors occur.
These fl uids can cause a slipping hazard.
> Regularly check whether the coffee machine is
leaking, and make sure no water is coming out.

and protected against water spray.
• Some condensate, water, or steam can always be
discharged from a coffee machine.
> Do not use the coffee machine outdoors.
> Set up the coffee machine so that it is protected
against water spray.
> Always put the coffee machine on a water resis-
tant and heat proof base to protect the installation
surface against damage.
