Doing a system cleaning

The system cleaning is a brewing process without using coffee.
The basket fi lter and thermos jug are cleaned with two WMF
cleaning tablets. Total duration is approx. 10 minutes.
Always make sure the thermos jug is correctly
positioned under the basket fi lter before the system
cleaning starts.
► Put 2 WMF cleaning tablets [1] in an empty basket fi lter [2].
Make sure that there is no fi lter paper and coffee.
► Slide the basket fi lter [2]

Do not put the lid on the thermos jug.

Select the full amount in the display with the selection

button.
► Press the start/stop button. The green indicator light il-
luminates. The machine starts dispensing hot water on the
cleaning tablets. The green indicator light goes out. You
hear an audible signal three times to indicate the cleaning
process is completed.
► Thoroughly clean the basket fi lter
