Maintenance works

2. Dismantling housing

(Fig. 4, Page15 )
Dismantle driver's cab (1):
Using a small screwdriver, unclip the 4 mounting clips by
lifting upwards. Remove the driver's cab upwards.
Dismantling the casing front / back (3):
Slightly squeeze casing to release the mounting clips. Remove
the casing upwards.

3. Exchanging the circuit board

(Fig. 4,Page 15)
Remove casing, see item 2.
Unscrew the two mounting screws and remove weighted lid
(6). Slightly tip the circuit board (7) and unsolder the power
supply cable (8). Unsolder the cable from the motor (9) to the
circuit board.
Note:
Make a note of how the cables were soldered. otherwise
direction may be wrong.
4. Changing the bulbs
(Fig. 4, Page 15)
Remove casing, see item 2.
Unscrew the two mounting screws (5) and remove weighted
lid (6). Slightly tip the circuit board (7) and unsolder the lamp
wires (10). Solder the new light unit (11) accordingly.

5. Exchanging the motor

(Fig. 4, Page 15)
Remove housing and circuit board, see item 2 and 3.
Unsolder motor cables (9) from circuit board (7). Unscrew
mounting screws (8) front / back and remove weights
(13 / 14). Unclip bogie attachment (15) with a small screw
driver. Remove endless screw (16) and cardan shaft (17) from
their holders. Remove bogie (18) downwards. Pull tank (19)
off the underside (fastened with adhesive tape). Using a
screwdriver, push engine bearings (20) upwards from the
bottom plate (21), remove engine (22) with both motor
bearing halves.
Note: When removing the engine, please note the installation
position, otherwise direction may be wrong.

6. Maintenance work on the upper gear part

(Fig. 4, Page 15)
Dismantle casing, circuit board and bulbs, see item 2 to 4.
Unscrew mounting screws (12) front / back and remove
weights. Unclip the bogie attachment (15) with asmall
screwdriver. Remove endless screw (16) and cardan shaft (17)
from holder.
