• For safety reasons, the device can only be switched on if the mixing bowl (2)
is fi tted in the motor unit (1) correctly and its lid (4) is locked on.
• To save power, the device switches off automatically if it is not operated or
used for approx. 5 minutes.
• Note on the heating function: After the set operating time has elapsed, the
cross blade rotates for another 30 seconds.
1. Place the motor unit on a dry, clean, fl at and non-heated work surface.
2. Insert the mains plug into an easily accessible socket.
3. Pour any ingredients you want into the mixing bowl. Do not exceed the 1500 ml
marking in the mixing bowl!
4. Attach the lid to the mixing bowl and insert it into the motor unit (see "Using Acces-
sories Correctly"). Close off the lid opening (12) with the measuring cup (3) that is
supplied if necessary.

6. Use the + and – buttons (20) to set the operating time (max. 60 minutes).
This step can be skipped if the ingredients are just to be mixed together and not
heated.
7. If the contents of the mixing bowl are to be heated, press the desired heating but-
ton (23). This then lights up to indicate that the chosen temperature level has been
activated. CAUTION: Set the operating time fi rst and then the temperature! The
heating function cannot be used without entering the operating time.
8. To switch on the cross blade, turn the dial (21) fi rst to position 0 and then to level 1.
Gradually increase the level if necessary.
NOTE: From a temperature of 60°C, the maximum speed level is 2.
Further ingredients or liquid can be added through the opening in the lid during
preparation.
Switching off the device
9. The device stops after the set operating time has elapsed.
To stop the cross blade manually, turn the dial to position 0.
To switch off the heating function manually, press the lit heating button. Its lighting
goes out.

cooked food.
Chopping, Blending, Whipping Cream and Beating Egg White
When the contents of the mixing bowl have a temperature of 60°C or more, the
speed levels are limited to 1 and 2. Cold ingredients are therefore suitable for
blending, whipping and chopping at high speeds. The heating function should be
switched off.
