7. PRoduCT dESCRIPTIoN

The measured values are displayed in a digital display together with the units and icons on
the measuring device. The measured value display comprises up to 19,999 counts (1 count =
smallest display value).
If the measuring device is not operated for approx. 10 minutes, it switches off automatically.
This saves power of the rechargeable battery and extends the period of operation. The
automatic deactivation function is also activated when using the mains unit or the USB cable.
However, the rechargeable battery is recharged here.

a) function description

The individual measuring functions are selected via the function button "L/C/R/" and "D/Q/θ/DCR".
Automatic area selection is active in all measuring functions. The appropriate measurement range
is set individually for each application.
In poor light, the display lighting can be activated by pushing the "Operating button" (A).

b) Charging the Measuring device

Before you can work with the meter, you first need to charge the rechargeable
battery with the enclosed mains unit.
To charge the integrated rechargeable battery, connect the enclosed mains unit or a USB
cable to the miniature USB socket of the meter. The charging time is approx. 2 hours. The
current charge condition can be read at the display based on the battery icon (g).
