c) Switching on the Measuring device
The measuring device can be turned on and off using the "operating button" (A). Press the but-
ton briefly once to switch the measuring device on. Always turn the measuring device off when
it is not in use. To switch off, keep the button (A) pushed for approx. 2 seconds. Deactivation is
indicated on the display with "OFF".
After activation, the meter is in smart AUTO-LCR mode at a measuring frequency of 1 kHz.
In this mode, the device independently measures the most plausible measured values accord-
ing to fixed parameters.
d) Select Measuring function
The measuring function is selected by the button "L/C/R". Every time the button is pressed, the
next measuring function is selected. The following functions can be selected in sequence:
AUTO LCR Smart auto mode for L, C and R
C Measuring range capacity
R Measuring range alternating current resistance
L Measuring range inductivity
The supplementary measuring functions are selected via the button "D/Q/ θ/DCR". Every time
the button is pressed, the next measuring function is selected. The following functions can be
selected in sequence:
D Dissipation factor
Q Quality factor
Θ Phase angle
DCR Direct current resistance
