Temperature sensor faulty.
Exchange the device and return it to the
Techem claims service.
The values measured at the temperature
sensors are implausible. Check whether
the flow sensor and the temperature sen-
sors are in the correct train of pipes.
The flow sensor system is defective.
Exchange the device and return it to the
Techem claims service.
The cold meter measures flawlessly.
In order to save electricity, the optical
interface is temporarily out of operation.
The flow direction of the flow sensor is
incorrect. Check the installation direction.
The cold meter measures flawlessly.
In order to save electricity, no radio tele-
grams are being sent temporarily.
The meter has a permanent fault and must
be replaced. The read out values cannot
be used.
All error codes except "C1" are displays alternating at
2 second intervals with the display of cumulated energy
since commissioning.
Error code "C1" on the other hand is exclusive, i.e. no
other display is possible if this error occurs.
If more than one error occurs that are indicated with the
other error codes, the meter displays the one highest in
the display priority. The sequence of display priority is
F4, F1, F6, F3, F9 and F5.
In addition to the actual error codes, if an error occurs
in all displays except the "all off" display test, a warning
triangle appears – Example:
Fault clearance
Before you look for a fault in the cold meter itself, please
check the following items:
4 Is the cooling system in operation? – Is the circu-
lation pump switched on?
4 Are the shut-off devices fully opened?
4 Is the pipe free (possibly clean the dirt catcher)?
4 Is the dimensioning in order?
Final tasks
1 Seal the sealing cap and both temperature sensors
with leads.
2 Label the connector visibly with the "TE1" sticker
included.
3 Insulate the flow sensor.

Operation

Display
Under normal operation, the display is switched off.
To activate the display, press the push-button on the left
underneath the display.
Approx. 2 minutes after the last time a key is pressed,
the display is deactivated automatically.
Display levels
The cold meter has two display levels – the readout level
and the service level:
Press the button longer to switch between the two
display levels.
At readout level, you can exit the cumulated energy
display by pressing the key briefly to the display test
"all on". The display then automatically switches through
to the alternating display of the due date value and the
due date. Both these values are labelled by an inverted
triangle at the bottom left of the display:
