8.1 Dispensing coffee
Unhook the filter holder from its seat, turning it
clockwise
Fill the filter with one or two doses of coffee
(depending on which filter is inserted).
Press the coffee with the tamper.
Rehook and tighten the filter holder in its seat,
turning it counterclockwise.
Line the cups up with the holes where the coffee
comes out, located under the filter holder.
Press the coffee dispensing button – dispensing
begins after a few seconds. In the DE and TOP
versions, dispensing stops automatically when the
programmed amount is reached. In the BASIC
version, dispensing must be started and stopped
manually.

8.2 Dispensing steam

Open the valve and discharge a bit of steam into the drip
tray, then immerse the steam nozzle in the liquid to be
heated and open the valve until the desired temperature
has been reached; then close the valve.
After heating the beverage, discharge a bit of
steam from the pipe to clean the nozzle holes.
8.3 Dispensing hot water (TEA)
Place the container for collecting water under the hot
water nozzle and open the valve.
9. ADJUSTMENTS
9.1 Pump adjustment (Figure 6)
We recommend setting the pump pressure to 9 bar.
There is a hole under the machine that allows accessing
the pump adjustment by-pass.
Insert the blind filter in the filter holder and then press
the coffee dispensing button; the pressure gauge should
show 9 bar; if the calibration is different, turn the
adjustment
screw
clockwise
counterclockwise to decrease the pressure. Check the
adjustment by operating the dispensing function several
times.

9.2 Pressure switch adjustment

The pressure switch is adjusted during testing to switch
off the heating process at 1.2 bar.
If the specific case requires different calibrations, it can
be changed using the adjustment screw as follows:
Remove the cup warmer surface;
Remove the yellow cap from the pressure switch;
to
increase
and
Slightly tighten or loosen the adjustment screw to
decrease or increase the pressure (Figure 7);
Wait until the operating pressure is reached, making
sure that the orange indicator light goes off, and
check the pressure shown on the pressure gauge;
Discharge steam from the valve two or three times
to verify correct calibration.
FIGURE 7
For correct machine operation, we recommend
not decreasing the pressure below 0.9 bar and
not exceeding 1.4 bar.
