3.1 Installation instruction

3.1.1 Mounting

The appropriate installation instructions must be observed for the mechanical
electrical installation. The instruction leaflet (IL04210002E) is included in the
packaging.

DANGER

To ensure explosion-proof operation, the motor-protective relay
may only be reset/switched on manually, or automatically via
a control interlock circuit for the motor or electrical machinery,
after the motor has cooled down.
A manual reset may be carried out by trained personnel locally
or in the control room.
DANGER

An automatic restart is particularly not permissible with Ex e
applications after the control voltage has failed and then been
restored.
▶ Mount the overload relay according to the installation instruction.
▶ Wire the motor cables.
