∫ Optimale Benutzung des Akkus
Besondere Eigenschaften das Akkus
Bei diesem Akku handelt es sich um eine aufladbare Lithium-
Ionen-Batterie. Sein Stromerzeugungsprinzip beruht auf einer
chemischen Reaktion in seinem Innern. Diese Reaktion wird
von der Umgebungstemperatur und der Luftfeuchtigkeit
beeinflußt, und bei hoher oder tiefer Temperatur verkürzt sich
die Betriebsdauer des Akkus. Beim Einsatz in extrem kalter
Umgebung kann daher der Akku u. U. nur eine Betriebsdauer
von ca. 5 Minuten liefern. Wenn sich der Akku übermäßig
erhitzt, wird er durch eine Schutzfunktion vorübergehend
außer Betrieb gesetzt.
Nach beendetem Gebrauch immer den Akku
abnehmen.
Nach dem Gebrauch unbedingt den Akku herausnehmen.
(Wenn er am Camerarecorder bleibt, wird auch bei
ausgeschaltetem Camerarecorder ein wenig Strom von ihm
entnommen.) Wenn der Akku extrem lange Zeit am
Camerarecorder bleibt, könnte er sich übermäßig entladen, so
daß ein erneuter Einsatz selbst nach Aufladen unmöglich würde.
Die Anschlußkontakte des Akkus sauber halten.
Darauf achten, daß die Anschlußkontakte nicht durch Staub,
Schmutz oder andere Substanzen verstopft werden.
Wenn der Akku aus Versehen fallen gelassen wird,
überprüfen, daß der Akku selbst und die Kontakte nicht
verformt sind.
Das Anbringen eines verformten Akkus am Camerarecorder
oder das Aufschieben auf den Netzadapter könnte den
Camerarecorder oder den Netzadapter beschädigen.
Entsorgung eines nicht mehr leistungsfähigen
Akkus
≥Die Lebensdauer des Akkus ist beschränkt.
≥Den Akku nicht in ein Feuer werfen, denn er könnte
explodieren.
∫ Wenn die Ladeanzeigelampen am Netzadapter
zur Warnung blinken
Falls die Umgebungstemperatur extrem tief oder hoch ist,
blinken die Ladeanzeigelampen am Netzadapter. Sie blinken
ebenfalls, wenn im Akku oder im Netzadapter ein Defekt
aufgetreten ist.
Wenn die Ladeanzeigelampen langsam blinken
Die Temperatur des Akkus ist zu tief (oder zu hoch), oder der
Akku ist übermäßig entladen; das Aufladen dauert daher
länger als gewöhnlich.
Wenn nur die Ladeanzeigelampen [80%] und [100%]
gleichzeitig blinken
Das Aufladen ist nicht möglich, da die Temperatur des Akkus
zu hoch oder zu tief ist. Sobald er sich ausreichend abgekühlt
bzw. erwärmt hat, beginnt das Aufladen automatisch.
Wenn die Ladeanzeigelampen [80%] und [100%]
abwechselnd blinken, oder wenn keine Ladeanzeigelampe
aufleuchtet
Den Akku abnehmen und dann erneut anbringen. Oder den
Akku am Camerarecorder befestigen und ca. 10–20 Minuten
lang Wiedergabe (oder einen anderen Betrieb) durchführen.
Anschließend den Akku abnehmen und wieder an den
Netzadapter anbringen. Falls das Aufladen noch immer
unmöglich ist, so ist im Akku oder im Netzadapter eine
Funktionsstörung aufgetreten. Wenden Sie sich bitte an Ihren
Fachhändler.
Wenn die Ladeanzeigelampen zur Warnung blinken, erlischt
die Lampe [QUICK], selbst wenn ein Akku vom Quick-Charge-
Typ angebracht ist.

∫ Optimum Use of the Battery
Special Characteristics of the Battery
This Battery is a rechargeable lithium-ion battery. Its ability to
generate electric energy is based on an internal chemical
reaction. This reaction is easily influenced by ambient
temperature and humidity, and the useful operation time that
the Battery can provide becomes shorter at high and low
temperatures. When used in extremely cold surroundings, the
Battery may only be able to provide approximately 5 minutes
of operation time. If the Battery becomes extremely hot, a
protection function is activated and prevents the use of the
Battery for some time.
After Use, Always Remove the Battery.
Be sure to remove the Battery from the Movie Camera.
(If it is attached to the Movie Camera, a small amount of
electric current is consumed even if the Movie Camera is
turned off.) Leaving the Battery attached to the Movie Camera
for a very long time could cause it to become excessively
discharged, so that it cannot be used any more even after
charging.
Keep the Battery's Terminals Clean.
Be careful that the terminals do not get plugged up with dust,
dirt or other substances.
If you accidentally drop the Battery, confirm that the Battery
itself and the terminals are not deformed.
Attaching a deformed Battery to the Movie Camera or to the
AC Adaptor could damage the Movie Camera or the AC
Adaptor.
Discarding a Battery That Has Become Unusable
≥The usable life of the Battery is limited.
≥Do not throw the Battery in a fire because it could explode.
∫ When the Charge Lamps on the AC Adaptor
Flash as Warning
If the ambient temperature is extremely low or high, the
Charge Lamps on the AC Adaptor flash. They also flash when
some defect has occurred in the Battery or the AC Adaptor.
When the Charge Lamps Flash Slowly
The temperature of the Battery is low (or high), or the Battery
is excessively discharged, therefore, charging takes longer
than normally.
When Only the [80%] and [100%] Charge Lamps Flash
Simultaneously
Charging is not possible because the temperature of the
Battery is extremely high or extremely low. After the Battery
has cooled off or warmed up sufficiently, charging starts
automatically.
When the [80%] and [100%] Charge Lamps Flash
Alternately, or When No Charge Lamps Light
Remove and then re-attach the Battery. Or, attach the Battery
to the Movie Camera and perform playback (or some other
operation) for 10–20 minutes. Then remove the Battery and
attach it again to the AC Adaptor. If charging is still
impossible, some malfunction has occurred in the Battery or
the AC Adaptor. Please consult with your dealer.
When the Charge Lamps are flashing as warning, the [QUICK]
Lamp turns off, even if a quick-charge type battery is
attached.
