15 Cleaning
15.1 Cleaning the Blower
►
Switch off the blower, @ 9.2.
►
Remove the battery, @ 8.2.
►
Clean the blower with a damp cloth.
►
Clean the intake screen with a soft brush.
►
Remove foreign matter from the battery compartment and
clean the battery compartment with a damp cloth.
►
Clean electrical contacts in the battery compartment with a
soft brush.
15.2 Cleaning the Battery

Clean the battery with a damp cloth.
15.3 Cleaning the Charger
►
Disconnect the plug from the wall outlet.
►
Clean the charger with a damp cloth.
►
Clean the charger's electrical contacts with a soft brush.

16 Maintenance and Repairs
16.1 Servicing and Repairing the Blower
The blower cannot be serviced or repaired by the user.

If your blower has a malfunction or is damaged or requires
servicing: Contact your STIHL servicing dealer.
16.2 Servicing and Repairing the Battery
The battery requires no servicing and cannot be repaired.

If the battery has a malfunction or is damaged: Replace the
battery.
16.3 Servicing and Repairing the Charger
The charger requires no servicing and cannot be repaired.

If the charger has a malfunction or is damaged: Replace
the charger.
►
If the connecting cable has a malfunction or is damaged:
Have the connecting cable repaired by a qualified
electrician.
