NOTA. The commands are tran-
smitted by TH400TX every 5 min.
4.1 - Storing the code (figure 1)
Insert the jumper in position 1 (the
green LED 1 starts blinking).
Send a control code (switch-on or

off) using TH400TX by altering the
temperature levels (make sure the
system ON indicator is activated
or deactivated).
The green LED 1 remains lit for the
duration of the code reception.
In order to store the code of the
second TH400TX thermostat, in-
sert the jumper in position 2 and
repeat the procedure followed for
the first thermostat.
In the event additional TH400TX
units are installed (up to a maxi-
mum of 4), insert the jumper in
position 3 and 4 respectively,
performing the relevant code sto-
ring operations.
NOTE. When
TH400TX units are installed, it is
advisable to number the transmit-
ter according to the code storing
sequence so as to facilitate any
later maintenance on the system.
The receiver features three-colour
LED 2 that indicates the range
level, thus enabling you to check
the transmitter signal.

Red: signal only just acceptable (it
is advisable, where possible, to
move the transmitter to get better
reception: 20 to 30 cm will usually
suffice).
Yellow: good signal.
Green: excellent signal.
Next, move the jumper to the desi-
red position for the emergency
condition (O, S or C).
4.2 - Emergency condition
In the event one of the TH/400TX
transmitters breaks or the com-
mand is not received for over 15
min for whatsoever reason, the
status of the heating and air-condi-
tioning system can be selected.
The three possible modes are as
follows:
a number of
• Jumper in O (OFF) position: the
system switches off and remains
in this status until it receives a new
command.
• Jumper in S (safety) position:
the system switches on for 15 min
every 4 hours, maintaining a safe
temperature level (THE ANTIFREE-
ZE FUNCTION).
• Jumper in C (comfort) position:
the system switches on and off
every 15 min, thus maintaining a
comfortable temperature.
