TH400TX
The TH400TX THERMOPROGRAM
programmable thermostat is desi-
gned to ensure ideal temperature
conditions at all hours of the day
and every day of the week.
The unit enables the room tempe-
rature to be remote controlled with
commands for the switching on
and off of the heating and air-con-
ditioning systems sent in radiofre-
quency.
This means the programmable
thermostat can be located in the
most suitable place for measuring
the temperature without the need
to install special systems, or costs
and problems of any kind.
An ideal solution, therefore, for the
disabled, the sick and people who
find it difficult to get about and,
more generally speaking, in all
those situations where personal
physical impediments or the parti-
cular architectural aspects of the
building make any alteration to the
existing structures infeasible.
The transmitter built into the
TH400TX thermostat has a range
of approx. 100 m in the open air
whilst, inside buildings, its typical
range is 30 m.
Of course, this distance may vary
depending on the structure of the
building.
The coding of the commands and
the periodic repetition of the rele-
vant signals assures operation
even in rooms featuring a conside-
rable degree of interface.
The technology chosen for the
transmitter and receiver is in
conformity with the European
directives on the power and cha-
racteristics of extraneous RF emis-
sions.
Three LR03 type AAA 1.5V alkaline
batteries are used to power the
THERMOPROGRAM for over a
year. Once it has been installed, it
is immediately ready to operate
with its permanently-memorized
standard program.
To suit individual needs, the pro-
gram can be adjusted at will, set-
ting the required temperatures for
the various times of the day and
week.
The THERMOPROGRAM is extre-
mely easy to program, even before
it is installed; a spacious display
facilitates this operation, since you
can "see" and change all the infor-
mation and program settings at
any time. The temperature thre-
shold can be set at values between
± 0.1 °C and ± 0.9 °C.
The THERMOPROGRAM can ge-
nerally control both heating and
cooling plants.
