With disinfection programmes the programme will
stop after a power failure.
To guarantee disinfection the programme must be
started anew from the very start.
If the appliance shows a function fault F – –:
X Stop the programme with the Quick Wash button
and select a new programme.
In the event of repeated error messages:
X Disconnect the electricity for approx. 1 minute and
then switch on again. (Withdraw the mains plug or
switch off the main building switch.)
X The machine is ready to operate once again when the
programme pilot lamps flash.
X Select a new programme.
If the error message still appears:
X Make a note of the error message
X Switch off the water tap and withdraw the mains
plug or switch off the main building switch.
X Inform Customer Service.

Other minor faults, which you can rectify yourself.
Machine operation
Display is dark:
X The machine is in standby mode. No error. To operate
the machine press any button.
The machine cannot be switched on, display
remains dark even after pressing a button:
X Check whether the mains power is switched on at the
wall and the plug is in.
X Check whether all the fuses are intact or the safety
switch has tripped.
X Mains blockage, generally at noon. Operate the
machine after the mains blockage has ended.
An already started washing programme stops at a
mains cut-off or outage. At the end of the electricity
interruption, the programme starts again at the place
where it stopped after you press the Start button.
The machine does not start:
X The Start button has not been pressed.
X Start time preselect has been set. Only starts at the
preselected start time.
Loading door cannot be opened:
X Programme not yet finished.
X «Rinsing stop» selected. No error; see chapter
«Washing/ Ending the programme with rinsing stop».
X Mains blockage or appliance defect: see below.
Open the door in the event of a power failure
or machine defect as follows:
X Check that the drum is standing still.
X Turn off the water tap
X Switch off the mains power supply.
X Remove the rubber grommet to the left of the door
lock. Insert a screwdriver and press down.
The door will open.

Power failure:

X After a power failure the programme will start auto-
matically or if you press the start button (according to
the settings of the machine parameters). It will restart
from the point at which the power failure occurred.
X Disinfection programmes must be executed anew
from the very start.
