Connection of the encoder

• Encoder cable double-shielded and twisted in pairs
• Connect exterior shielding at both ends to PE/GND
• Connect interior shielding at one side to COM
• Do not connect exterior and interior shielding
Two connection examples of SSI encoders are following. The assignment of the motor en-
coder interface is different according to the manufacturer. The examples must be adopted
accordingly.
