3.8
Functional variants
The functions of the control module can be varied by means of the setting
switch on the main circuit board and adjusted to the respective application.
3.8.1
Temporary release
The duration of a temporary release status can be set between 11 and 176
seconds in 11-second increments.
The temporary release using the key-operated switch in the control module can
also be switched off altogether. (Temporary release via the external key is,
however, always possible.)
3.8.2
Permanent unlocking
The possibility of permanent unlocking via the key-operated switch integrated in
the control module can be switched off.
For application cases in which it is important to prevent unintentional actuation
of permanent unlocking, a delay of command acceptance can be activated. This
is only accepted if the key is held for longer than 5 seconds in the left-hand
switching position.
3.8.3
Pre-alarm
The "Pre-alarm" function can be switched off. The duration of the pre-alarm can
be set between 4 and 64 seconds..
3.8.4
Alarm
Acoustic signalling of an alarm by the buzzer integrated in the control module
can be deactivated for the events of a central alarm trigger function. If an exter-
nal emergency unlocking function is triggered (e.g. fire alarm system switch-
board), no acoustic signal is then sounded at the individual door.
The alarm causes "Emergency key" and "Sabotage" which relate to the indivi-
dual door are, however, always acoustically signalled in the control module.
3.8.5
Alarm time
The acoustic alarm signal has a time limit. It can be set to a value between 11
and 176 seconds
.
All function and time settings at the control module may only be
performed by a specialist
