3.2 Non-destructive/Destructive actuation of the emergency
switch
The cap of the emergency switch can be set in such a way that it remains unda-
maged on actuation, or alternatively so that it is destroyed by actuation. It is set
in the factory for non-destructive emergency switch actuation. To change to
destructive emergency switch actuation, the emergency switch cap must be
pressed out of the cowling using a suitable tool - for example a screwdriver -
turned by 60° and replaced.
Note! When pressing out and re-inserting the emergency switch cap, only act on
the edge of the switch as otherwise you could unintentionally break out the
central element!
For precise alignment of the emergency switch cap, there are two markings on
it which must each be aligned with a marking in the cowling.
