Timer and sleep operation

The system turns on and plays the desired source (DVD, CD, MP3 disc or tuner) at
the preset time.

! Setting the timer

Before setting timer:
1 Ensure you have set the correct time on the AV control unit (page 24).
If the time is not set, you cannot use the timer function.
2 Prepare for playback and set the TV to the desired channel.

Turn the power on and press the TIMER but-
ton.
If "TIMER STANDBY" does not appear, check that the
AV control unit is set to the correct time.

Within 10 seconds, press the or
select "TIMER SET", and press the ENTER
button.

Press the or button to adjust the hour and
then press the ENTER button.

Press the or button to adjust the minutes and then press the
ENTER button.
The start time is set and the finish time (1 hour later) will be displayed automati-
cally.

Set the time to finish as in steps 3 and 4 above.

Switch input with the or button,
and then press the ENTER button.
When you select the tuner, select a station
by pressing the or button, and then
press the ENTER button.

Adjust the volume with the or
button and press the ENTER button.
" Settings are displayed in order and the
system will enter the timer stand-by
mode.
" Timer set indicator will light up.
