Changing the registration in the remote control

Sharp's TVs can be operated with the remote control of this system without register-
ing the operation (except for some models). (See page 51.) You can also operate
TVs of other manufacturers by changing the registration in the remote control.
! Changing the TV registration
Use buttons on both sides of the remote control.

Whilst holding down the TV ON/STAND-BY button, press the TV
CHANNEL button.

Enter the manufacturer setting number (2 digits) with the direct
number buttons (0 - 9) and press the TV ON/STAND-BY button.
The setting is registered and the TV can be operated with the remote control of
this system.

(*): The default manufacturer number is 01 (SHARP).
Notes:
" As for manufacturers with 2 or more setting numbers, select one of the numbers
with which you can operate the TV.
" The number will not be set unless the registration is completed within 30 seconds.
In that case, try registration again.
" Once you set a number, the number previously memorised will be cancelled.
" After replacing the batteries in the remote control, the registered number may
automatically be set to 01 (SHARP). If it occurs, register the desired number
again.
" Registration cannot be executed depending on TVs. Even if numbers can be set,
some buttons may not work.
