the plug before performing maintenance and adjust-
ment work.
Keep the instructions with the machine.
Keep the machine clean.
Wear safety goggles when cleaning.
Cleaning:
Caution: Do not clean the plastic parts of the table
with aggressive cleaning agents. A mild rinsing liquid
on a damp cloth is recommended. No water must come
into contact with the machine.
• Keep protective devices, air vents and the motor
housing as free of dust and dirt as possible. Rub the
product clean with a clean cloth or blow it off with
compressed air at low pressure.
• We recommend that you clean the product directly
after every use.
• Clean the product at regular intervals using a damp
cloth and a little soft soap. Do not use any cleaning
products or solvents; they could attack the plastic
parts of the product. Make sure that no water can
penetrate the interior of the product. Water penetra-
tion increases the risk of an electric shock.
Maintenance:
• Check the saw blade at regular intervals. Use only
saw blades that are well sharpened, free of cracks
and not deformed. Only use tools that comply with
the European standard DIN EN 847-1.
• Replace worn swivel frame inserts immediately.
• Check all safety devices after all maintenance or
cleaning work.
• Check that no tools or miscellaneous parts are on or
in the machine before putting it back into operation.
• Remove any sawdust accumulations that may arise
at the discharge.
After repairs or maintenance, make sure that all safe-
ty-related parts are installed and are in perfect con-
dition. All parts which may cause injury must be kept
where they are inaccessible to children or others.
