We are pleased that you have chosen a walimex pro product by WALSER.
Your walimex pro Mover 400 TTL studio flash with battery is the ideal companion for external
and internal fotoshootings. He is 400Ws powerful and reaches a guide number of 70. The built-in
2,4GHz receiver supports TTL and ensures a smooth synchronization of flash and camera. For
remote control we recommend the optionally available walimex pro Operator TTL. When put on
top of the camera, the Operator TTL controls the flash for the most part automatically. You can
make settings conveniently on the remote control without leaving your position. The Mover 400
TTL is ideal for portraits, wedding photos and sports photos. Whether you want to take pictures
in bright sunshine with the aperture wide open, in changing light conditions or fast movements -
the studioflash with battery is your reliable companion, for more flexibility, freedom and efficiency
during your shooting.

the first time. It contains everything you need to know in order to avoid damage to per-
sons or property.

Understanding these user instruction correctly

1.1 Markings on the device

This symbol indicates that your device meets the safety require-
ments of all applicable EU-directives.
Waste disposal and protection of the environment
Electric and electronic appliances as well as batteries must not be
disposed of together with domestic waste. The user is legally obliged
to return electric and electronic appliances as well as batteries to
specially set up public collecting points or to the sales outlet once
the appliance has reached the end of its service life. Details are
regulated by national law. The symbol on the product, in the user in-
structions or on the packaging refers to these provisions. Recycling,
material-sensitive recycling, or any other form of recycling of waste
equipment/batteries is an important contribution to the protection of
our environment.

Important safety information

WARNING
Risk of retina damage
The flash light can damage retina up to the loss of vision if your flash is trigged in close
distance to persons or animals.
Don't trigger a flash in close distance to the eyes of persons or animals.
Please make sure that the distance between persons and animals is at least 2 m.
Please avoid looking into the flash directly.
Use diffusers.
WARNING
Danger of crashing, entrapment, burning, and fire due to a falling device
The weight of the flash is 1850 g. The modelling lamp, flash tube, and reflector can heat up
to 240° C.
Make sure that the device is always positioned tilt and skid resistant and stored securely.
Make sure that all fastening screws have been properly tightened.
Keep out of reach of children and animals. They might accidentally overturn the device.
Avoid placing cables where they can be tripped over. The device might be overturned.
WARNING
Danger of electric shock, burn hazard
Please note that the device is still connected to a supply voltage even if it is switched off.
The device is only fully disconnected from power shortly after it is disconnected from power
by pulling out the power cable and the battery.
Switch off your device when it is not in use.
Switch off your device before installation and maintenance, and disconnect from the
power supply.
Discharge the device before starting any maintenance arrangements.
Protect your device against being unintentionally switched on.
Unplug the power cable if the flash is not in use for a long time
