4. Product information

4.1. General

With the 3-phase EM2GO EV charging station, you can charge your electric vehicle safely and quickly. The
EM2GO charging station with intelligent control has a variety of communication interfaces such as Ethernet,
BLE, Wi-Fi, LTE and RS-485 for connection to an OCPP 1.6-J-compatible backend, for control via ModBus
TCP and for local load management. With the built-in local load management, multiple charging stations can
be connected to share the available power. In addition, the charging station has an integrated RFID reader for
RFID cards. The built-in all-current-sensitive residual current monitoring unit (RCMU) protects against fault
currents during a charging process. The 4.3-inch colour display informs you about the current charge status,

requirements in this standard are intended to supplement the information
needs of users regarding compatibility between charging stations for electric

is visible on the charging stations, on the vehicles, on the cable assemblies
and in the user manuals as described.
