3.2. Charging connection

In accordance with EN IEC 61851-1, the charging station with a Type 2 socket complies with the connection
according to Case B.

Method for connecting a vehicle to the supply network for supplying energy to the vehicle
Mode 3 is a method for connecting an electric vehicle to an AC EV supply facility that is
permanently connected to an AC power supply network, with a control pilot function
extending from the AC EV supply facility to the electric vehicle.
