b) Setting up a Master Slave Chain

The effect light can be operated controlled by a DMX controller or in a master-slave chain. In that case, the integrated
controller of the master device controls the connected slave devices.
You can purchase the corresponding connection lines for the DMX connections from us.
• Connect the DMX OUT (1) port of the master device to the DMX IN (2) port of the first slave device.
• Connect the DMX OUT (1) port of the first slave device to the DMX IN (2) port of the subsequent slave device.
• Proceed as described above with all remaining slave devices.
• Plug an XLR plug with a terminating resistor into the DMX OUT (1) port of the last slave device (as described in
section "Connection of a DMX Controller").

10. Mains Connection

The mains socket to which the effect light is connected must be close to the device and easily accessible to
quickly separate the device from the mains voltage in case of an error. The mains socket also must be earthed,
i.e. it must have a protective ground conductor.
Use the enclosed mains adapter lines or other suitable mains adapter lines with suitable, water-protected
screw-in plugs for the mains connection. Screw the enclosed covers to connections that you do not use to
ensure water-proofness of the connections.
Carefully screw on the connection lines to prevent wetness from entering the connections.
Ensure that the voltage indication on the effect light matches the mains voltage of your power supply. Never
try to operate the device with any other voltage.
Do not let the mains lines come into contact with other cables.
Be careful when handling mains cables and mains connections. Mains voltage may cause potentially fatal
electric shock.
Make sure that no cables lie around openly. Install cables professionally to prevent accidents.
Never overload the mains output AC OUT (3). Devices with a total power intake of up to max. 10 A can be
connected here. Never connect any devices with a higher power intake here. This would cause overload of
the connection.
• Connect the mains line to the AC IN (9) connection and screw on the plug connection.
• Plug the mains plug of the mains line into a grounded socket.
• Once the device is connected to the mains socket, it takes up operation.
• Other effect lights can also be connected to the mains via the mains output AC OUT (3). For this, plug a matching
extension line in the AC OUT (3) connection and connect it to the mains connection of the next device. You can
purchase matching lines from us.
