5.1

Adjustment of the height-adjustable support

The height-adjustable support is set as follows:
1. Measure the outer diameter of the pipe.
2. Pull the spring latch (1) upwards and turn it 180°,
while holding the support (2) with the other hand
to prevent it from falling down unintentionally.
→DANGER OF ACCIDENT!
3. Move the height-adjustable support (2)
(Fig. 1.1) until the correct immersion depth is set
(see viewing window →Fig. 1.1).
Example: for pipe Ø 790 - 870 mm, Ø 79-87/7
must be displayed in the viewing window (Fig.
1.2).
4. Pull the spring bolt (1) back up and turn it 180°.
5. Move the height-adjustable support (2) until the
spring latch engages in the corresponding hole
and the height-adjustable support (2) is locked
again.
