Module bus RS-485

3.4.1

Function

One Door Unit: 2 RS-485 interfaces to connect 2 readers (1 outdoor reader and 1 indoor reader).
Two Door Unit: 4 RS-485 interfaces to connect 4 readers (2 outdoor readers and 2 indoor readers).
RS-485 address: Each interface occupies address 1.
For readers without DIP switch the address 1 is set automatically.
For readers with DIP switch the address 1 must be set manually.

Readers and reading technology

1) IK3 only UID without changing data transmission mode
2) mifare DESFire EV1: up to V04.xx only UID, encryption from V05.xx
