2. Set the scale on the parallel guide (27)
so that you can read the desired cutting
width on the mount (18) marking.
3. Retighten the retaining screws (20).
4. Make a test cut, check the cutting width
and correct the position of the parallel
guide (27) if necessary.

• You can set the following cutting angles:
−45°; −22.5°; 0°; 22.5°; 45°
Procedure (Fig. D)
1. Switch off the device and remove the
battery. Make sure that all moving parts
have come to a complete stop.
2. Remove the splinter guard (19).
3. Open the lever (6).
4. Push the footplate (12) forwards slightly.
5. Adjust the footplate (12) to the desired
position.
6. Press the footplate (12) backwards into
one of the notches.
7. Close the lever (6) fix the position.

External dust extraction

Connecting external dust extraction
(Fig. E)
1. Disable the dust blower function with the
switch (7).
2. Slide the adaptor for external dust ex-
traction (11) as far as it will go into the
guide rail between the tool and base
plate (12).
3. Connect a suitable dust extraction (not
included) to the adaptor for external dust
extraction (11).
4. If the external dust extraction does not fit,
use the additional reducer piece (10).
Removing external dust extraction (Fig. E)
1. Remove the dust extraction from the ad-
aptor for external dust extraction (11) or
reducer piece (10).
2. Remove the reducer piece (10).
3. Remove the adaptor for external dust ex-
traction (11):
• Press against the adaptor for external
dust extraction inside the recess in the
base plate (12).
• Pull the adaptor for external dust ex-
traction to the rear.

1. Push the splinter guard (19) from the bot-
tom into the recess in the baseplate (12).

1. Press the splinter guard (19) away from
the recess in the baseplate (12).

Checking the battery charge level

1. Press the button (31) next to the charge
level indicator button (29) on the battery
(9).
The LEDs of the charge level indicator
show how much charge remains in the
battery.
2. Charge the battery (9) when only the red
LED on the charge level indicator (29) is
illuminated.

Notes
• If warm, allow the battery to cool before
charging.
• Do not expose the battery to direct sun-
light for long periods and do not place it
on a radiator (max. 50°C).
Charging the battery
1. Remove the battery (9) from the device.
2. Push the battery (9) into the charging slot
of the battery charger (28).
3. Connect the battery charger (28) to a
power outlet.
4. After charging, disconnect the battery
charger (28) from the mains.
5. Pull the battery (9) out of the battery
charger (28).
