Requirements
• The saw blade has a T-shank mount
(single lug shank) like the supplied saw
blades (16/17).
• The saw blade is suitable for the respect-
ive material.The scope of delivery for the
device includes large-toothed saw blades
for wood and a fine-toothed saw blade
for metal and plastic.
• The chuck is free of splinters or other ma-
terial residue.
Installing the saw blade (Fig. B)
1. Turn the release of the chuck (14) as
far as possible. Keep the release of the
chuck fixed in this position.
2. Place the saw blade (16/17) into the
chuck (21).When inserting the saw blade,
make sure that the back of the saw blade
is in the notch of the guide roller (15).
3. Release the release of the chuck (14) los.
4. Make sure that the saw blade (16/17)
is attached correctly and the teeth are
pointing in the cutting direction.
Removing the saw blade (Fig. B)
Hold the device in a way that no persons in
the vicinity are injured by the ejected saw
blade.
1. Hold the saw blade (16/17) firmly.
2. Turn the release of the chuck (14) as far
as possible.
The saw blade (16/17) is ejected.
If the saw blade is not ejected: Hold the
release of the chuck and pull the saw
blade from the chuck.
3. Release the release of the chuck (14) los.
Using the parallel guide
The parallel guide can be fitted on both sides
of the tool.
Fitting the parallel guide (Fig. C)
1. Loosen the retaining screws (20) if neces-
sary.
2. Push the parallel guide (27) into the hold-
ers (18).
3. Retighten the retaining screws (20).
Removing the parallel guide (Fig. C)
1. Loosen the retaining screws (20).
2. Pull the parallel guide (27) out of the
holders (18).
