Adjusting the cutting
angle
you­can­determine­the­cutting­angle­using­
the­cutting­angle­scale­(10).
1.­ Loosen­the­wing­screws­(11a+b)­of­the­
cutting angle preselection at the front
and­rear­of­the­device.
2. Set the desired angle on the cutting
angle­scale­(10).­
3.­ Tighten­the­wing­screws­(11a+-b)­again.
Turn­the­adjusting­knob­(36)­to­vary­
the cutting angle stop between 45°
and 48°.
­Hold­the­device­firmly­with­both­
hands during the angle cut to main-
tain better control of the tool.
Adjusting the cutting
depth
1.­ Loosen­the­locking­lever­(6)­by­pressing­
it upward.
2. Set the desired cutting depth on the
cutting­depth­scale­(4).
For a clean cut, select a cutting
depth­that­is­approx.­3­mm­
greater than the material thick-
ness.
3.­ Press­the­locking­lever­(6)­back­down­
to lock.

Sawing (without guide rail)

•­ Hold­the­machine­with­both­hands,­one­
hand­on­the­handle­(3)­and­the­second­
on­the­auxiliary­handle­(13).

•­ Switch­on­the­device,­see­chapter­

•­ Place­the­machine­with­the­front­part­of­
the­baseplate­(7)­on­the­workpiece.
•­ Saw­forward­with­moderate­pressure­–­
never­backward.
Mitre cuts up to 45°
•­ Set­the­desired­cutting­angle­as­described­
in­the­chapter­"Setting­the­cutting­angle".
•­ Hold­the­machine­with­both­hands,­one­
hand­on­the­handle­(3)­and­the­second­
on­the­auxiliary­handle­(13).
•­ Switch­on­the­device,­see­chapter­
"Switching­on/off"
•­ Place­the­machine­with­the­front­part­of­
the­baseplate­(7)­on­the­workpiece.
•­ Saw­forward­with­moderate­pressure­–­
never­backward.
Moving­sideways­during­the­cut­
can cause the saw blade to jam,
resulting in kickback.
Sawing (with guide rail)
Guide rail not included, but option-
ally­available,­e.g.­saw­rail­from­
Parkside PTSZ 70 A1.
right angle sawing
•­ Place­the­guide­rail­on­the­workpiece­
with the black rubber lip facing down-
wards­and­fix­the­guide­rail­to­the­
workpiece.
•­ Place­the­device­with­the­groove­on­the­
guide­rail­(37).
•­ Turn­the­two­adjusting­screws­(7a)­on­
the­base­plate­so­that­the­device­glides­
smoothly without rattling.
•­ Hold­the­machine­with­both­hands,­one­
hand­on­the­handle­(3)­and­the­second­
on­the­auxiliary­handle­(13).
