6.1. Starting the myintercom app

Download the myintercom app from Apple's
AppStore or from Google Play, depending
on your type of smartphone or tablet PC. The
screenshots shown in these instructions were
created on an iOS device. The app looks exactly
the same on Android devices. After starting
the app, you will see an empty Start screen.
To use the app with your myintercom video
door intercom, you first need to assign a user
to the camera, please cf. chapter "Camera
Administration". Then you need to add the door
intercom, please cf. chapter "Door intercom
administration". To do so, you will need the
access information provided during the user
assignment process.
As a first step, you need to assign a user to the
camera. In case you want to use myintercom
functions outside your home network via a
mobile data connection, you need to activate a
corresponding licence on our website.
Your myintercom door intercom set-up is suc-
cessfully completed.
