KARL STORZ SCB
HINWEIS: Um ein versehentliches Herausziehen
des SCB-Verbindungskabels zu verhindern, besitzt
der SCB-Stecker eine Schutzvorrichtung.
Die Schutzvorrichtung des SCB-Steckers zurückzie-
hen und den Stecker in eine der SCB-Buchsen
einstecken. Das andere Ende des Kabels mit einem
KARL STORZ SCB Steuergerät (KARL STORZ
Communication Bus) oder wei teren SCB-Geräten
verbinden (siehe hierzu Gebrauchsanweisung
KARL STORZ SCB bzw. SCB control NEO System).
Ggf. Fußschalter (siehe Zubehör) an Anschluss-
buchse
anschließen.

Vorwahl Anwendungsbereich

Der ENDOMAT
n. HAMOU
ist sowohl für
hysteroskopische wie auch für laparoskopische
Anwendungen geeignet. Die Vorwahl des ge-
wünschten Anwendungsbereiches erfolgt auto-
matisch durch Einlegen des für den jeweiligen
Anwendungsbereich bestimmten Schlauchsets.
Das Gerät erfasst die gewünschte Betriebsart über
unterschiedliche »Schlüssel« der Schlauch sets und
stellt die entsprechenden Betriebsparameter ein.

KARL STORZ SCB
NOTE: To avoid mistakenly pulling out the SCB
connecting cable, the SCB connector possesses a
protection device.
Pull back the protection device of the SCB connec-
tor and insert the connector into one of the SCB
sockets
. Connect the other end of the cable to
the KARL STORZ SCB (KARL STORZ Commu-
nication Bus) control unit or other SCB units (see
KARL STORZ SCB or SCB control NEO System
Instruction Manual).
If necessary, connect footswitch (see Accessories)
to the socket
.

Mode of operation selection

The HAMOU
ENDOMAT
unit is suitable for both
hysteroscopic and laparoscopic applications. The
appropriate mode of operation will be automati-
cally selected when the correct type of tubing for
the application is inserted. The unit determines the
intended application from the differing 'encodings'
of tubing sets and then automatically selects the
appropriate mode of operation.
