Operating the control handle
The load lifter can be operated with the pushbutton on the control handle of the control unit.
Pressing it more or less firmly adjusts the movement speed of the load lifter exactly. However,
the maximum pushing force is only obtained by pressing the pushbutton completely down.
Extending the load lifter
The main direction of movement of the appliance (the extension) is triggered by
pressing in the lower wedge-shaped (convex) end of the button.
The direction of movement is indicated by the following symbol on the appliance:
Retracting the load lifter
The lifter is folded with the upper curved (concave) end of the knob,
which is marked with the following symbol:
Dead man's circuit
When the pushbutton is released, it returns to the zero position automatically. This always
brings the appliance to a stop in any situation (including under load).

Safety valve
If the return line is not properly coupled or is damaged so that the oil cannot return, a safety
valve built into the control handle responds to protect the unit and the operator. This allows
hydraulic oil to escape safely at the end of the handle.
Immediately set the switching valve on the hydraulic power unit to the 0 position and, if
necessary, plug the coupling parts together correctly.

Possible applications
Lifting
To lift moving loads, the load lifter is positioned in the collapsed state. Therefore, make sure that the
load lifter is placed as centrally as possible and at a right angle to the load.
Suspended parts must immediately be suitably braced and supported. It is forbidden to stay under
suspended loads.
Make sure that the maximum load of 100 kN is not exceeded when lifting with
the lifting claw. Furthermore, it must be ensured that the entire surface of the
lifting claw is used.

Shutdown (end of work)
After work is over, the lifter's piston rod must be completely folded. To relieve the hydraulic load on the
appliance, do not apply pressure!
The appliance can then be uncoupled as long as the power unit's switch lever is in the 0 position.
Ensure that no dirt gets into the couplings and that the protective caps are inserted immediately.
