Brief description
In the "Büffel" hydraulic hoist, the hand pump and the single-acting lifting cylinder are combined into
one compact unit. Safety overload valves prevent overloading during the lifting process. The lifting claw
is 6-fold height adjustable.
The pump handle can be moved to the most favourable working position in each case.
Please refer to the type plate for the permitted appliance load.
The B 10 is equipped with 2 pump pistons. In the low-pressure range, this results in a higher oil flow
rate and therefore a larger stroke per pump clearance. In the high-pressure range, a pump piston
switches off automatically, the stroke per pumping cycle is smaller.
The appliance can be used in an ambient temperature of -20°C to +55°C.
The appliance complies with DGUV principle 305-002.

Bleeding
The ingress of air into the pump system during transport and storage is unavoidable. The air is removed
at the workplace before the appliance is put into operation by opening the drain valve: Turn the
handwheel to the left. Position the appliance, i.e. bring it into the desired working position (see page 19
"Possible working positions"). Operate the pump handle several times, making full use of the pump
handle movement.

The ideal foot for every task
Flat square foot design if the unit is to stand independently in position "A".
Spherical foot design if the unit is supported against an uneven surface.
Foot support plate in conjunction with spherical design acts as an articulated foot and
prevents any sinking into soft surfaces.
Please note:
The feet are attached to the piston rods and can be replaced after knocking out the dowel pin.
3.6
Adjusting the lifting claw
Unlock the plug-in bolt by turning it (position: "unlocked") and pulling it out. Bring the lifting
claw to the desired height. Ensure a secure fit. Insert the pin into the lifting claw and lock it by
turning it ("locked" position).
CAUTION!
The pin for the lifting claw must be fully inserted and locked.
Risk of crushing / injury when adjusting the lifting claw.
3.7
Lifting
Close the drain valve fully by turning the handwheel to the right. Inflate the attached ""Büffel"".
Make full use of the pump handle travel.
3.8
Lowering
Slowly open the drain valve by turning the handwheel to the left. The lowering speed can be
finely regulated with the handwheel. By closing the drain valve (turning the handwheel to the
right) the lowering load can be stopped immediately at any height. After use, push the lifting
piston all the way back.
