2 Safety

This section of the operating instructions presents a comprehensive overview of all important
safety aspects for optimal protection of the operating personnel as well as for safe, trouble-free
operation.
Non-observance of the handling and safety instructions presented in these Operating Instructions
can result in serious dangers.
WARNING!
Danger when operating appliances with different operating pressures!
Pump units with an operating pressure higher than that intended for the
rescue equipment must not be used (can be identified on the type plate and
in the operating instructions).

2.1 Intended use

The lifting equipment in this manual is designed and tested exclusively for the intended uses
described in this document. All other activities are fundamentally prohibited.
