b) Connection and Operation
• The product must only be set up and operated in dry indoor
rooms. The product must never become moist or wet. There
is a fatal danger from electric shock in the mains adapter!
• Do not place the product on any valuable furniture surfaces
without using sufficient protection.
• Do not use the product inside of rooms or in bad ambient
conditions where flammable gases, vapours or explosive
dust may be or are present! There is a danger of explosion!
• The product must not be exposed to extreme temperatures,
strong vibration or strong mechanical strain.
• The product is only suitable for use in temperate, but not
tropical, climates.
• Never look into the projector directly or with optical instru-
ments; there is danger of damage to the eyes!
• The mains unit is constructed pursuant to protection category
II. Only a regular mains socket connected to the public mains
supply must be used as a voltage supply for the mains adapter.
• Only use the included mains adapter of the projection clock
as power supply.
• The mains socket to which the mains adapter is connected
must be easily accessible.
• Install the cable between the mains adapter and the projection
clock so that no one can trip over it.
• Protect the cables of the plug-in mains adapter from sharp
edges. Do not bend it. Do not put down any objects on it.
• Do not pull the plug-in mains unit from the mains socket by
pulling the cable.
• If the mains adapter is damaged, do not operate the product
any more.
Switch off the mains socket to which the mains adapter is
connected entirely (switch off the respective circuit breaker
or turn out the fuse. Then deactivate the FI protection switch).
Then unplug the mains adapter from the mains socket.
