Configuring
When shipped, the SIPART DR19 is configured as a fixed-point controller with K-
Factory
setting
output.
For safety reasons, the proportional gain Kp (cP) and the integral action time Tn
are set to non-critical values.
Configuring means:

calling up predefined controller functions from memory (EPROM),
•
adapting controller parameters.
Configuring is performed from the front panel of the controller.
Configuring
procedure
The function of the front panel is first changed from process operation level to
selection level, from where the parameter lists, configuring switch lists or com-
missioning functions can be selected.
After then switching to the configuring level
•
the parameters of the selected list can be displayed and modified,
•
functions can be executed.
