5)
Never use a cracked diamond cutting wheel. Re-
place immediately.
6)
Segmented diamond cutting discs must not be used!
7)
Attention! The diamond cutting wheel continues to
run after the machine is switched off!
8)
Never apply lateral pressure on the diamond cut-
ting wheel to bring it to a standstill.
9)
Caution! The diamond cutting wheel must always
be cooled with water. Never use the device without
sufficient water in the water tank.
10) Always pull out the mains plug, before changing
the diamond cutting wheel.
11) Do not leave the device running unattended and
store the device in a dry place, out of the reach
of children.
12) If the machine remains shut down and unattended
for an extended period, it must be secured against
unauthorised restarting.
13) Before all maintenance and cleaning work, switch
the device off, pull out the mains plug and wait for
the diamond cutting wheel to come to a standstill.
14) If the mains cable is damaged, it must be replaced
by the customer service department to avoid danger.
15) Disconnect the machine from the power supply
and turn the diamond cutting wheel by hand to
make sure it is not jammed.
16) Always keep the flanges and receptacles of the
diamond cutting wheel clean.
17) Make sure that the flange screw is tightened with
a suitable spanner.
18) Do not attempt to cut freehand. Always make sure
that the tile to be cut is pressed firmly against the
parallel side stop or angular stop.
19) Make sure that the workpiece to be cut has enough
room to move sideways. Otherwise the cut-off
piece may get stuck on the diamond cutting wheel.
20) Do not cut more than one tile at a time.
21) Never cut parts that are too small to hold securely
against the side stop without leaving enough space
for your hand to be a safe distance from the blade.
22) Make sure that the table and the surrounding area
are clear except for the tile to be cut.
23) Only use suitable diamond cutting wheels.
24) Never use inferior diamond cutting wheels in the
machine. Only use diamond cutting wheels of the
correct size.
25) m WARNING Only use products manufactured in
accordance with EN 13236:2019 diamond cutting
wheels with the specified outer diameter and bore
diameter may be used. The specified speed of the
diamond cutting wheel must not be undercut.

The use of all other types of diamond cutting wheels
or circular saw blades is not permitted and can lead
to life-threatening injuries.
26) Before each use, check that the protective cover
is in perfect status and that the diamond cutting
wheel is tightened.
27) Never use the device without a protective cover
or riving knife. Incorrect spacing, positioning and
alignment can make the riving knife ineffective in
reducing the likelihood of kick-back.
28) Keep your hands away from the diamond cutting
wheel.
6. Residual risks
The machine has been built according to the state-of-
the-art and the recognised technical safety require-
ments. However, individual residual risks can arise
during operation.
• Health hazard due to electrical power, with the use
of improper electrical connection cables.
• Furthermore, despite all precautions having been
met, some non-obvious residual risks may still re-
main.
• Residual risks can be minimised if the "Safety In-
structions" and the "Intended Use" together with the
operating manual as a whole are observed.
• Avoid accidental starting of the machine: the oper-
ating button may not be pressed when inserting the
plug in an outlet.
• Use the tool attachment that is recommended in this
operating manual. This is how to ensure that your
machine provides optimum performance.
• Keep your hands away from the working area when
the machine is in operation.
• Contact with the diamond cutting wheel in the un-
covered area.
• Reaching into the running diamond cutting wheel.
• Ejection of a faulty diamond attachment of the cut-
ting wheel.
• Kick-back of workpieces and workpiece parts if han-
dled improperly.
• Hearing damage when the necessary hearing pro-
tection is not used.
• Kick-back of workpieces and workpiece parts.
• Harmful emissions of dust during use in enclosed
areas.
