PREPARATION FOR WORK
BLADE MOUNTING
Disconnect the power tool from the power supply.
The blade is mounted and replaced without tools.
• Set the pendulum adjustment knob (5) to position "III" and lift
the cover (7) (fig. A).
• Pull back the blade holder lever (6) and insert the blade as far
as it will go into the blade holder (6) (the teeth of the blade
should point forward) (fig. B).
• Important! Ensure that the saw blade is properly seated in the
guide roller (14).
• Release the blade holder lever (6) and check that the blade is
properly seated.
• Removal of the blade is in the reverse order to its installation.
Use blades with a T-fixing system as shown in Figure C.
DUST EXTRACTION
The jigsaw is equipped with a system for blowing chips away from
the cutting line. This is controlled by the blowing control lever (15)
(fig. D). In addition, it is possible to connect the chip discharge
system to the spigot (16) .
When using external chip extraction, move the blowing control
lever (15) to the off position "O". Turning off the blowing system will
improve the performance of the external chip extraction. STORING
THE SAW BLADE
The jigsaw has a practical pull-out container (12) in the back for
storing the saw blades and hex key
(Figure E).
OPERATION / SETTINGS
ON/OFF
Before connecting the jigsaw to the mains supply, always check
that the mains voltage corresponds to the voltage indicated on
the rating plate on the power tool.
Switching on - press the switch button (2) and hold in this
position.
Switching off - release pressure on the switch button (2).
Switch locking (continuous operation) Switching on:
• Press the on/off button (2) and hold in this position.
• Press the switch lock button (3) (Fig. F).
• Release pressure on the switch button (2).
Switching off:
• Press and release the switch button (2). Each time the work
area needs to be illuminated, press the light switch button (11)
which causes the LED (LED) (10) illuminating the work area to
light up (fig. G).
INDICATOR LIGHT FOR VOLTAGE CONNECTION
When the unit is connected to the power socket, the light indicating
that the voltage is connected (13) is illuminated.
JIGSAW SPEED ADJUSTMENT
The speed of the jigsaw motor is adjusted by turning and setting
the speed control knob (1) to the desired position. This allows the
speed of the power tool to be adapted to the characteristics of the

material being worked on. The speed adjustment range is from 0
to 5.
The higher the number that appears on the perimeter of the dial (1)
(fig. H), the higher the operating speed of the jigsaw.
SAW BLADE SWING ADJUSTMENT
The available possibility of adjusting the pendulum movement of
the saw blade allows better adaptation of the jigsaw to the
requirements of the material to be processed. The pendulum
movement is adjusted in increments by means of the pendulum
movement adjustment knob (5) from "0" to "III" (fig. I). The most
favourable selection of the pendulum stroke for individual materials
is provided by the table below
Sheet metal in general: 0
Aluminium sheet: I - II
Wooden plywood: 0 - I
When using a knife-type blade, the swing adjustment switch
should be set to 0. When cutting metal, lubrication is
recommended.
FOOT ADJUSTMENT FOR ANGLED CUTTING
Disconnect the power tool from the power supply.
The adjustable jigsaw foot makes it possible to make cuts at an

angle from 0
to 45
extraction port (16) must be extended and removed (fig. J).
• Loosen the foot fixing screws (4) using a hexagonal spanner.
• Move the foot (4) backwards and tilt left or right (up to 45
• Position the foot (4) at the desired angle, slide forward and
secure by tightening the fixing screws (fig. K). The graduation
allows the foot to be inclined at angles of 0
(
right or left). Always place the hexagonal spanner in its storage
location when the adjustment is complete.
INSTALLATION OF PARALLEL CUTTING GUIDE
Disconnect the power tool from the power supply.
The parallel cutting guide can be mounted on the right or left side
of the jigsaw foot.
• Loosen the parallel guide lock screws (8).
• Insert the parallel guide bar into the holes in the footplate (4),
set the desired distance (using the graduations) and fix by
tightening the parallel guide locking screws (8) (fig. L).
The guide bar of the parallel guide should face downwards.
CUTTING
• Place the front of the foot (4) flat on the material to be cut.
• Start the jigsaw and wait until it reaches the maximum set
speed.
• Move the jigsaw slowly guiding the blade along the pre-
determined cutting line.
• When cutting along a curved line, guide the jigsaw very gently.
The cut should be made evenly, taking care not to overload the
jigsaw. Excessive pressure exerted on the saw blade will have an
inhibiting effect on the pendulum movement, which will adversely
affect cutting performance. If it is necessary to cut in a gentle curve,
the pendulum motion should be reduced or switched off
completely.
If, during operation, the entire surface of the jigsaw foot is not
against the surface of the workpiece but is raised above it, there
is a danger of breaking the saw blade.
CUTTING A HOLE IN THE MATERIAL
• Drill a 10 mm diameter hole in the material.
• Insert the saw blade into the hole and start cutting from the hole
made.
METAL CUTTING / TYPES OF SAW BLADES
For cutting through metal, suitable blades with a higher number of
teeth should be used.
When cutting through metal, a suitable lubricant (cutting oil) must
be used. Cutting metal without lubrication leads to accelerated
blade wear. The table below provides the most favourable choice
of saw blade:

Plastic: I - II
Wood: I - III
