F. Speed control lamps
A row of five speed control lamps (C1) can be found in front

of the speed control. When the "+" button is held down, the
speed increases and the lamps light up from left to right. The

device is working at full speed when all lamps are turned on.
When the "-" button is held down, the speed decreases and

the lamps turn off from the right to the left until the device is
working at its lowest speed.

G. Before initial application, run the hand piece necessarily
for approx. 30 minutes with approx. 8.000 rpm.

(approx. ½ revolutions of the controller). This is necessary to
bed in the carbon brushes of the motor.

Note:
A different running noise between clockwise and counterclockwise
rotation is normal and caused by bedding in of the carbon brushes
or by running in of bearings.

In cases of malfunctioning:

• Check that the power supply is correct.
• If the problems have still not been solved after following these
steps, please consult your service center immediately.
