5. LOADING THE INTERNAL BATTERY
Important! To obtain maximum battery performance, charge
before use, after each use and in any case every 3 months.
The charge status of the starter Li battery is indicated on the display
as a percentage value and by the horizontal bars of the icon
lighting up.
When the icon
appears on the display, the user is advised to
recharge the starter's Li battery as soon as possible.
5.1 CHARGING WITH USB POWER SUPPLY
ATTENTION! Only use a USB power supply that meets the
required specifications (see product data plate).
- Insert the appropriate connector into the USB charging socket (Fig. A-4).
- During the charging process, the horizontal bars of the icon

charge percentage
- The starter is equipped with a control device that prevents the battery
from overcharging.
- When charging is complete, the icon
and the charge percentage
- Remove the power supply connector from the USB charging socket (Fig.
A-4).
6. ALARMS AND WARNINGS
Operating faults, incorrect cable clamp connections, critical battery
conditions, etc. are indicated by symbols and messages on the display.
6.1 ALARMS
- Icon
lit and message „A.01" on the display. Starter with DC cables
or reversed polarity; disconnect the output cables.
- Icon
lit and message „A.02" on the display. Battery voltage
incompatible with operator selection; select the correct battery- .
With 12V models only, this indicates that the battery voltage is not
compatible and must therefore be disconnected.
- Icons
lit and message „A.03" on the display. Lithium cells
of battery 2 excessively discharged; recharge immediately.
- icons
lit and message „A.04" on the display. Lithium cells
in battery 1 excessively low; recharge immediately.
If alarms „A.03" or „A.04" persist even after 10 hours from the start of
charging, stop charging and contact the service centre.
7. DISPOSAL OF THE STARTER BATTERY
The starter battery should be recycled. In some countries this is mandatory.
Contact your local solid waste authority for recycling information.
