4. INSTALLATION
Starter location
During operation, place the starter in a stable position on a flat, horizontal
surface.

4.1 OPERATING MODE

The starter is turned on by pressing button
to the load; the starter turns off automatically when it is not connected to
the load, the USB output (Fig. A-7) is inactive, the LED light (Fig. A-3) is off
and no activity is detected on the buttons for more than 30 seconds.

4.2 OPERATION IN START MODE

The START mode
batteries (24V only on 12V/24V models) and the starter provides the
current necessary to start the vehicle if its battery has insufficient capacity.
If the vehicle battery is completely discharged, it is advisable to pre-charge
it before proceeding.
ATTENTION: follow the instructions strictly in the order
shown below! Always prevent the black and red clamps from
coming into contact or touching a common conductor!
ATTENTION: Failure to observe the following rules may
reduce the service life of the starter.
Procedure
- Use the connector in Fig. A-8 to select the battery voltage (12V/24V
model only).
- The correct voltage is selected as shown in Fig. C.
- Select the START function
selected) flashes on the display.
- Make sure that the vehicle or boat to be started is switched off (switch or
ignition key in the OFF position);
- First connect the red POS. (+) clamp to the POS. (+) terminal of the
battery, then connect the black NEG. (-) clamp to the vehicle chassis or
to the NEG. (-) terminal of the vehicle battery.
- The message „12V" (or „24V" if selected) on the display becomes steady,
together with a buzzer sound, indicating that the vehicle is waiting to
start;
- Turn the vehicle key to the start position for 3-10 seconds.
- If the vehicle or boat does not start, wait for the countdown timer on the
display to finish before trying again;
After starting and with the engine running, strictly follow the sequence
of operations:
- Disconnect the black (negative) clamp from the vehicle and connect it to
the side support of the Starter (Fig. A-6);
- Disconnect the red clamp (positive) from the vehicle and connect it to
the side support of the Starter (Fig. A-6);
We recommend recharging the starter as soon as possible.
Attention! The starter contains robust batteries, but in any
case, once the engine has started, disconnect the clamps
from the car as soon as possible, as only short periods of a few
minutes are tolerated in this configuration.

ATTENTION! If the starter temperature is below +10°C,
maximum starting performance cannot be achieved. It is
advisable to perform a few preparatory starts to raise the
temperature to a more optimal level.
4.2.1 Starting mode
ATTENTION: use this operating mode only in extreme cases
when you need to start a vehicle with no battery or with a
deeply discharged battery; before starting in these
conditions, always consult the vehicle's instruction manual.
ATTENTION: follow the instructions below in the order given!
Always prevent the black and red clamps from coming into
contact with or touching a common conductor! Take
particular care not to reverse the polarity on the vehicle battery.
The START mode
24V batteries (24V only on 12V/24V models). The starter provides the
current necessary to start the vehicle if its battery is missing or very low.
ATTENTION: follow the instructions below in the order given!
Always prevent the black and red clamps from coming into
contact with or touching a common conductor!
Procedure:
- Use the connector in Fig. A-8 to select the battery voltage (12V/24V
model only).
- The correct voltage is selected as shown in Fig. C.
- Select the START function

ignition key in the OFF position);

- Activate the „OVERRIDE" function
for at least 2 seconds. After selection, the start output is energised.
- The message „12V" (or „24V" if selected) on the display becomes steady,
together with a buzzer sound, indicating that the vehicle is waiting to
start;
- Turn the vehicle key to the start position for 3-10 seconds.
- If the vehicle or boat does not start, wait for the countdown timer on the
display to finish before trying again.
After starting, strictly follow the sequence of operations:
- Disconnect the black (negative) clamp from the vehicle and connect it to
the side bracket of the Starter (Fig. A-6);
- Disconnect the red (positive) clamp from the vehicle and connect it to
the side support of the Starter (Fig. A-6);
It is recommended to recharge the starter as soon as possible.
4.3 USING THE STARTER AS A POWER SUPPLY AND/OR LOAD (POWER
BANK)
ATTENTION! Only use devices with a USB input that is
compatible with the specifications provided (see product
data plate); always consult the device's instruction manual
before proceeding.

of the starter (Fig. A-7).
