Two pairs of loudspeakers can be connected to the
receiver (SPEAKER     A and SPEAKER     B). The
impedance of each speaker must not be lower than 4 Ω
(DIN rating).
The output stages are designed to cope with a minimum
load of 2 Ω, but continuous operation at very high volume
produces high currents in the power output stages which
can lead to overheating. This in turn trips the protective
circuit which switches the receiver off automatically.
Make sure that the terminals are firmly screwed down,
and that no short-circuits are possible as a result of
projecting cable ends or errant wire strands.
A range of high-quality cables is available; they are
carefully selected to match  equipment. Please ask
your  specialist dealer.
Note:
If the loudspeakers are to be used in countries outside
the EU the red/black stoppers can be removed from the
loudspeaker terminals. The speakers can then be
connected using banana plugs.
The stoppers are simply a push-fit in the terminals, and
can be prised out from the rear using a suitable tool such
as a knife blade.

This socket is for mains connection and contains the
main fuse. The fuse should only be replaced with another
